While Angola’s past includes significant moments like the Angola Horror train wreck of 1867, today the focus is on growing the sport of pickleball. With its first dedicated court now open, Angola is building a new tradition, bringing people together for fun and friendly competition in this charming village.

Pickleball in Angola, New York:
Angola is home to one dedicated pickleball court, located next to Azalia's Juicery on N Main St. This is the only pickleball court in the village, and it had its grand opening on August 31st, 2023, with the Mayor and Board of Trustees in attendance. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a great spot to enjoy a game of pickleball.

Looking to learn or improve your pickleball skills? Angola is just beginning to develop its pickleball community, and we're looking to connect players with local instructors.
